Eleven teams competed at Norton. Pre-fishing Saturday was very hot, but Sunday was a little cooler with a nice north breeze. Joel and I managed to squeak out a win over Robert and Jerry Hoesli, by a little more than 1/2 a pound. They also had Big Bass, a 3.56 pounder. Third, and first out of the money, was Johnny Baker and Curtis Grove, they won 2 Exide battery certificates. Kent Craft, Johnnys usual partner, was unable to fish due to his Mothers' illness, our thoughts and prayers are with the Craft family. Here are the totals:
