As most of you know, we had to cancel our Qualifier in September due to unsafe conditions. The make up dates will be April 20,21, &22. Don is about to wrap up negotations for the site, and we will announce ASAP.  This will qualify this years' team, which will be competing in Louisiana in June. The second Qualifier, which will determine the 2013 State Team is tentatively scheduled for September 28, 29, &30. site TBA. Mr. Bass is tentatively scheduled for May 5&6. I saw the other day that the KSU Fishing Team has a benefit tournament scheduled that weekend, so we may have to adjust. The Team Series as we know it will take a break this year. The plan is to have 2 team style benefit tournaments in its' place. I'll try to have this all locked in in the next week or so. As soon as the business side of the negotiations have been finalized.

Jeff has potential locations and is working on the best room rates, etc., that we can get. "The business side of the Federation."

I am curious though. Are the locations of these events, 4 months and 7 months down the road, the deciding factor of your Club being affiliated with the Federation?

Sometimes we can do everything in our power on our end of a deal, but those we deal with sometimes don't see the urgency of getting things done in a timely manner.
