With all the press the Alabama rig is getting, I thought it might be a good idea to find out if it's legal. I asked Doug Nygren, his response was that only 2 of the baits can have hooks. I'll investigate Oklahoma and Missouri and get back.

From my understanding, Oklahoma allows 5. Mike Hall (MD Custom Baits) has been making me some Alabama Rigs, and they're pretty sweet. He's making 5 wire and 3 wire baits right now, but I can get him to make a 2 wire bait if anyone is interested. ($16 for 5 wire rig, and $15 for 3 wire rig).
