Perry was windy and cold Sunday. Still some nice limits were brought in. Beau Branine won, and had a 5.38 pounder for big bass. Beau will be a boater on the 2012 State Team. Second went to Jason Benjamin, who will be a non boater on next years' team. Congats to Jason and Beau! Here are the numbers for those who weighed in. I think most everyone had fish but some of us chose not to weigh in once we saw what it was going to take to win. Twenty two clubs sent representatives.

Even though a few Anglers chose not to be a sport and weight their fish for the show, all Anglers and Observers were invited to take advantage of the free selection of Berkley "Havoc" soft plastics baits, provided by the Federation, and the few items that were donated by Bass Pro Shops of Olathe, Kansas.
In addition to positions on the 2012 K.B.F.N. State Team, Beau Branine and Jason Benjamin were each presented a Model SLC700X Baitcast Reel from our Official Reel Sponsor, U.S. REEL.
Thank you to all the K.B.F.N. affiliated Clubs that sent their "Angler of the Year" and supported the 2011 "Mr. Bass" Championship Tournament and the 2012 K.B.F.N. State Team.
The remaining positions on the K.B.F.N State Team will be determined at the State Qualifier, September 16, 17 & 18, 2011, at Milford Reservoir, Junction City, Kansas.
