The "Watercraft Tax Reduction Bill" has been signed by the Governor and is now law. In summary, Kansas Watercraft Tax in 2014 will be reduced to 11.5%. In 2015, Watercraft Tax will be reduced to 5% and will remain at 5% thereafter.
Kent Craft, K.B.N. Legislative Liaison, will attend a "ceremonial signing" of the bill next week at the Capitol. Kent has invested 5+ years fighting for the reduction of this tax on behalf of thousands of boat owners in Kansas. Job well done.
